Tushy Ace Electric Bidet is the high quality bid you need

CNN

Tushy, the fun bidet brand you’ve probably seen across your social media, has made a name for itself with its easy-to-use bidet attachment, perfect for beginners. But now the brand has released a new bidet which is a big step away from your known and preferred bidet attachment in terms of features and price.

The Tushy Ace is an electric bidet that completely replaces your existing toilet seat and boasts a heated set, unlimited warm water, a regular self-cleaning nozzle, a dryer and even a remote control. Coming in at $ 599, it’s definitely an investment (and much more expensive than Tushy’s previous models, which hovered around 100 100). To help you figure out if drowning is worth it, we tried SK ourselves.

Before we dive too deep into Tushy Ace, it’s important to check if your toilet is compatible. (Who knew there were so many types of toilet seats?) You can see if Ace fits your toilet here on Tushy’s website.

Tushy’s new full-featured electric bidet

With a heated seat, warm water, a dryer and even a remote control, Tushy Ace is a high quality bidet that you have been waiting for.

The Tushy Ace’s heated seats, warm water and built-in dryer are the ultimate game changers from the original Tushy Classic, which we tested after a lack of great toilet paper in the 2020s. All are welcome upgrades. After installing the bidet (more on that later), you’ll be able to run a back wash as well as a front wash with a five-level adjustment for both water pressure and angles. And after feeling the spray of Ace, we can be sure that it is much more comfortable than Tushy attachments. Also, on top of a more comfortable cleaning supply, Ace is more effective, thanks to a cradle power wash activated by double-pressing the back or front wash button.

The Tushy Ace has five water temperature settings and with an internal coil heating system, you will get unlimited hot water when you start spraying a second time. This is a much better experience than Tushy Spa, which takes hot water from the pipe under your sink instead of heating the water. We also tested the spatula and found that if the water in your sink takes a while to warm up, you will have the same problem with streams from your bidet. Tushy Ace, on the other hand, sprays hot water almost instantly.

For a little insight, the big driver of bidet value at this level is the way to warm the water. Some bidets have a built-in tank that keeps only a limited amount of water hot and others, such as the Tushy Ace have an internal system that heats the water as it passes through the bidet, meaning you get a warm current as long as you need it.

For comparison, both the Bio Bidet Bliss BB-2000 ($ 699; amazon.com) and the Brondell Swash 1400 ($ 649; brondell.com) have an internal heating system, giving you an unlimited supply of hot water. But if you don’t want to spend too much but still want hot water, a bidet with a heating tank is a good option. We tried the Brondell Swash LE89 and Swash LE99, both using a tank and providing a comfortable, efficient cleaning. The Swash LE89 ($ 289.99; brondell.com) has the same basic functionality as the Tushy Ace (although with a limited amount of warm water), but all control is in one arm. We don’t think the arm was too much pain to use, but if you like a remote concept and still want a cheap bidet, the Swash LE99 ($ 309.99; brondell.com) is almost identical to the LE89 but a Remote and user profile, which allows you to save your desired settings.

The Tushy Ace also comes with a heated seat – again with five temperature settings – and, to be honest, the warm seat looked a little weird at first. Previously, the only reason a toilet seat was used was by someone else, which is a somewhat unpleasant association. But after a few uses, the feeling of a heated seat becomes absolutely enjoyable, and will probably get better as soon as the weather cools down.

Finally, we arrived at the dryer, which is below the best upgrade from the original Tushy. Brands always claim that using their bidet will reduce your use of toilet paper, but in our experience this was not always essential. Many times there is still plenty of water to dry after a spray, and we’ll end up using the same amount of toilet paper anyway. However, Tushy Ace’s dryer makes that problem a thing of the past. Once your spray is finished, tap the dryer button to start the drying cycle, which you can finish at any time by pressing the “Stop” button. With five temperature settings, it’s not only comfortable, it actually works well enough to reduce the amount of toilet paper you use.

Installation is a huge factor in the case of bidets because, not surprisingly, most people do not really communicate with their toilet plumbing. However, Tushy has always claimed to be the easiest bidet to connect to your toilet, and when we tested the classic that was certainly true. Tushy maintains that ease of installation on the new Tushy Ace শুধু just make sure your toilet is compatible, as mentioned earlier, and has a three-prong outlet less than a foot away.

It only took 30 minutes to put Tushy Ace in our toilet, and that time was spent trying hoses to connect our toilet tanks – stuffed in one corner of our bathroom and impossible to see (you’ve got to love New York City apartments!). .

Overall, installing Ace is an incredibly easy process. You turn off the water connection, flush your toilet to drain the tank, and turn off your toilet seat as you would when installing Tushy Classic. Water connections are easy to screw in unless your space is too narrow and you need a simple mount to attach the bidet to your toilet that fits just above the hole in your toilet. We have a top-mounted toilet and have to buy extra washers to mount other bidets properly. The Tushy Ace, however, comes with its own screws, so whether you have a top-mount or a regular toilet, no additional materials are needed to mount the bid.

After gently turning on the water again and making sure that no of your connections are leaking, you can plug in your Tushy Ace and you are ready to go. Although it is easy to install, you should still read the prior instructions carefully.

Our installation has been smooth, but you need to make sure your bidet is checked-in. About an hour or so later, we noticed that a connection was leaking and our bathroom started flooding. All we had to do was rearrange the hose and draw it harder, but it would be a good idea to test it afterwards to prevent any flooding.

There is no doubt that Tushy Ace is a huge improvement over Tushy Classic and Tushy Spa. If you want a higher quality bid, the Tushy Ace is a solid alternative to the $ 599, and although it’s a much higher price tag than Tushy’s previous models, Ace’s features are matched with the same bid to stay close to the same bid.

If you’re ready to split up into a high-quality but easy-to-use bidet, you won’t be disappointed with the Tushy Ace electric bidet. Once you feel the endless warm water, heated seats, remote control, adjustment and dryer, you will think about how you can use something less.
