The United States has said the Taliban’s actions will be judged after Reuters’ open and professional discussions.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The United States said Sunday the first face-to-face meeting between senior U.S. and Taliban officials was “clear and professional” after the extremist group regained power in Afghanistan in August.

But the US side reiterated that the Taliban would be judged by his words, not just his words.
