The result of rhetoric: Biden’s divisive administration

As a candidate, Joe Biden promised to “restore the spirit of the nation” and “unify” America. Leftist pundits announced that his president would return to normalcy. “Adults are in charge again.” It has been nine months since Biden was sworn in as president and so far, he and his administration have done their best to break that promise.

For example, in a letter to the National School Boards Association, Attorney General Merrick Garland’s response complained that parents were protesting the radical propaganda taught to their children “that it could be tantamount to domestic terrorism and hate crime.” The NSBA even suggested that parents could be investigated and punished under the Patriot Act, an anti-terrorism law passed in the wake of the 9/11 attacks. Garland declared that the Biden Judiciary is “committed to discouraging these threats, identifying them when they occur and using their authority and resources to bring them to justice if appropriate.” In Biden’s America, concerned parents protesting the persuasion of their children is a threat worthy of investigation and punishment.

Or what about Biden’s inflammatory and false claim that the Jeddah and Texas Electoral Integrity Act is a “Jim Crow attack of the 21st century” on the right to vote? By proposing to these states that racism is the underlying motive of the law, Biden announced that he would use the power of the federal government to pass the Electoral Integrity Act in these states. According to Biden, those who want free and fair elections for all Americans are racists. Such rhetoric is rarely unified or healing – especially when support for the Voter ID Act has increased by 13 percentage points among black Americans and stands at 81% of all voters.

Similarly, in his speech announcing nationwide orders for the Covid-1 vaccine for many businesses and more than 1 billion workers, Biden pitted Americans against each other. “We’ve been patient, but our patience has thinned,” he said. “And your refusal has cost us all.”

Threatening citizens, including an American president, is an unprecedented tactic. Freedom and self-government are the core values of this nation নয় not coerced by Washington’s unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats. Not only is such a federal decree unconstitutional, it also forces small businesses to spend their own resources to pay for weekly coronavirus tests or to vaccinate or dismiss their employees. After the Democrat-led shutdown and the benefits of additional unemployment that have encouraged workers to stay home, it is a business burden that has already thinned out. The Biden administration is undermining the economic recovery inherited from President Trump and Republicans and trampling on individual freedom in the process.

Clearly, worried parents, voters who want a safe ballot box, and Americans who have decided not to get vaccinated deserve national shame. But when Biden was asked about the footage of Democrat Sen. Kirsten protests by refusing to support her ড 3.5 trillion build-back better bill after leftists take the movie to the bathroom, Biden Smiled. He said such harassment “happens to everyone”. It’s “part of the process.” Did he mean restoring civility and decency?

Far from uniting the country, the Biden administration has sown divisions at every opportunity. They have turned Americans against each other, creating half the country as a potential terrorist threat and a threat to public health. These are serious trends that threaten the stability of our country and our ability to withstand attacks at home and abroad. As Lincoln warned, “a house divided against itself cannot stand.”

This administration has proven that results – not rhetoric – are important. In 2022, voters will learn a lesson from them.

Rona McDaniel is chairman of the Republican National Committee.
