The NFL made the NFT bet on the latest deal with Dapper Labs

The company Dapper Labs has struck a deal with the National Football League behind the popular NFT platform NBA Top Shot.

As part of the agreement, Dapper Labs will create the exclusive digital video highlight NFT (Non-Fungible Token) for the NFL and NFL Players Association. NFTs are comparable to virtual sports cards, but instead of a picture of a player with figures on the back, you get a video highlight of a play like a Christian McCaffrey Zuck or Patrick Mahoms touchdown pass.

“We are delighted to launch NFL Digital Video Collectibles with Dapper Labs,” said Joe Rugiero, NFL’s Senior Vice President of Consumer Products, in a statement. “We believe that blockchain technology has great potential to enhance the NFL fan experience in the future and we are thrilled to have Dapper Labs among our first partners exploring this emerging space.”

The latest NFL highlights will be available in addition to the historically significant NFL dramas that will be available when the platforms are launched in NFT.

“From Hail Murray to the Minneapolis Miracle, magic happens at NFL stadiums. A league that constantly raises the bar, we’re proud that NFL and NFLPA Dapper Labs have chosen to deliver the moment they’ve been waiting for for NFL fans around the world.” “We cannot wait for the more than 100,000 million NFL fans to have the opportunity to own and participate in this important sport,” official Roham Gharegozlu said in a statement.

Dapper Labs’ NFT Marketplace NBA Top Shot has generated more than ২ 2222 million in transactions since its inception in October 2020.
