McConnell was only interested in some of the material for the 2022 ad, but after selling his caucus on preventing debt limit increases, now they can’t get on the board enough to default.

Mitch McConnell has created this crisis for no reason, and now he can’t get himself out. Republicans may not get enough votes to raise the voting limit and prevent the economy from collapsing.

McConnell created the crisis, so Democrats should demand a Republican vote to raise the Republican limit, or Republicans could own the economy’s tankings (again).
