Jesus, the Christian Dior fashion and beauty global ambassador for K-pop group Blackpink, traveled all his life last week when the superstar visited Dior’s Atelier in Paris, France, just as the house was at the 60’s themed Spring / Summer 2022 fashion show. And when Jesus recorded the travel moments on his Instagram, he and Dyer kept a beautiful video diary so everyone could capture what Jesus saw there, as well as his favorite things, from the vibrant colors of this season’s costumes to the famous 1995 Princess Diana bearing home. Lady Dyer’s bag from the archive.
Behind the scenes at Jesus Atelier to see the new costumes of the season and learn about their inspiration; Visit Dior Héritage and learn about the extensive history of the home and how it has influenced the new collection of creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri; And talk to the home makeup artist about what inspired the beauty look at last week’s runway show. Jesus talked about what influenced him the most about his collection this season. “Bright colors and graphic elements have made this year’s fashion show even more dynamic,” she said in Korean, which translated the house into English in the video’s subtitles. “When I look at the set with all these colorfully decorated models, I feel like I’m in a video game. There were many beautiful clothes. I loved them all! If I had to choose just one, the dress I saw with the ribbon on the chest would be my favorite.
The video concludes with Jesus beautifully dressed in a star-embroidered Dior costume at the sign at the Eiffel Tower. “The trip to Paris with Dyer was very enjoyable for me, and I will never forget that night,” he said.
