Robinhood (HOOD), Coinbase (COIN) – Shares of retail trading apps and cryptocurrency exchanges have declined in the primary market, prompting China to intensify its crackdown on cryptocurrencies. The country’s central bank said on Friday that all cryptocurrency-related activities were illegal. Shares of Coinbase fell more than 3.6% while Robinhood fell 2%.
Roku (Roku) – Shares of the streaming video platform fell into pre-market trading after Wales Fargo unloaded Roku from excess weight to equal weight. The investment firm said in a note that Wall Street expects Roku to increase revenue as competition grows. Roku shares fell 2.3%.
Nike (NKE) – Apparel giant’s stock was under pressure after Nike cut its revenue forecast on Friday due to supply chain problems. The agency said it expects full-year sales growth in mid-unit figures for fiscal year 2022, lower than the lower double-digit growth forecast. Shares of Nike in primarymarket trading fell more than 4%.
Under Armor (UAE) – Athletic apparel retailer’s stock fell into premarket trading after cutting rivals Nike’s direction. Shares of Under Armor fell more than 2% in premarket trading.
Costco (COST) – The retailer lost expectations at the top and bottom lines in its financial fourth-quarter report on Thursday afternoon. The company reported adjusted earnings per share of $ 3.90, easily topping expectations of 7 3.57, and net sales for the quarter rose more than 17% year-over-year. The stock was slightly higher at premarket trading.
MARK (MRK) – The pharmaceutical giant, including AstraZeneca, announced Friday morning that a treatment using the drug Linparza has slowed the progression of prostate cancer in a third-stage trial. Mark’s share in primarymarket trading has risen more than 1%.
Cheesecake Factory (CAKE), Dave & Buster’s (PLAY) – Reference stocks rose slightly in premarket trading while Jefferies upgraded stocks to buy from hold. The firm said full-service restaurants have seen good traffic despite the expansion of the Delta variant.
