Well, if Pfizer says so.
Pfizer and Biotech’s Covid Jab is safe for children ages 5 to 11, says the pharmaceutical giant.
Scott Gottlieb, FDA commissioner-Pfizer-board-of-directors, and CNBC contributor (who is also selling a book about Covid) said he hopes the job for children will be approved by the end of October.
“Subject to the FDA’s precautionary review, a vaccine for children 5-11 years of age may be available by the end of October,” Gottlieb said Monday.

A small dose of Pfizer and Biotech’s Covid-1 vaccine is safe and creates a “strong” immunity in clinical trials for children aged 5 to 11, drug manufacturers announced Monday.
Information covering more than 2,200 children will be submitted to the Food and Drug Administration and other health regulators as soon as possible. Pfizer CEO Albert Borla said last week that the company could submit data on children aged 5 to 11 later this month. If the FDA spends as much time reviewing data for those ages 12 to 15, shots can be found in time for Halloween.
“Depending on how long it takes the FDA to review the application, whether it’s a four-week review or a six-week review, you can get the vaccine for children in late October or early November,” Gottlieb, a Pfizer board member and former FDA chief, told CNBC on Monday.
The companies tested a two-dose method of 10 micrograms প্রায় about one-third of the dose used for adolescents and adults পরিচাল administered at three-week intervals. They said the shots were well tolerated and produced resistance and side effects in patients seen in a study of people aged 16 to 25 years.
