House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was forced to delay voting on the ২ 1.2 trillion ‘bilateral’ infrastructure bill on Thursday evening.
Progressives rejected Pelosi’s planned vote because they wanted to vote on the $ 1.2 trillion bill while the Senate voted on the $ 3.5 trillion reconciliation bill.
Democrat Senator Manchin and Cinema are refusing to sign the 3.5 3.5 trillion bill, so Pelosi accepted the loss Thursday.

Fox News reports:
House Majority Leader Stanny Howe told members that the $ 1.2 trillion bilateral infrastructure bill would not be voted on tonight. The discussion will continue for at least one more day.
The delay came despite days of talks led by President Biden, a top member of his administration, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.

Democrats failed to come to an agreement on their reconciliation bill on Thursday and thus were unable to explain the moderates’ bilateral infrastructure bill.
The failure to come to an agreement on Thursday does not mean that Democrats will not be able to pass any of these laws. But it was a big push for Democrats, who both stressed the urgency of the bill and aimed to pass it in September.
Earlier on Thursday, Pelosi was very smoky (and drunk) when a reporter asked him if the $ 1.2 trillion infrastructure bill would pass the House.
