News that Qatar will relax Kovid’s ban

Mask regulations will be relaxed and offices can operate at full capacity after a reduction in daily cases.

Qatar has announced the relaxation of coronavirus-related restrictions following a reduction in daily cases, the most important of which is the relaxation of mask rules.

On Wednesday, the Qatari cabinet said that from October to October the mask regulations would no longer apply to outdoor activities, except for organized public events, markets and exhibitions. However, it added that the mask must still be worn on mosques, schools, hospitals and university campuses, as well as all public indoor areas.

In addition, markets and malls can also operate at full capacity, allowing children to access such facilities while adhering to the maximum number of customers allowed in each store.

Food courts are allowed to operate at 50 percent power and all prayer areas and mall fitting rooms can reopen.

All museums and public libraries are also allowed to operate at full capacity. Public and private sector offices can reopen at full capacity.

Outdoor restaurants and cafes can also operate at full capacity, and those who are not certified are allowed to operate at 50 percent.

In-house restaurants and cafes are allowed to operate at 75 percent while unauthorized facilities can operate at 40 percent.
