On Tuesday, Atlanta-based cryptocurrency payment company BitPay announced that Israeli software company Vix has enabled its software as a service (SaaS) e-commerce product for accepting crypto-asset payments. Integration Weeks allows merchants to accept 12 different cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin, Dogcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Etherium, Lightcoin and Stablecoin.

Founded in 2000, by Israeli software engineers Nadav Abrahami, Avishai Abrahami and Ziora Kaplan, the global SaaS platform Wix enables users to develop both mobile and HTML5 websites without coding experience. On October 12, Wix announced that it would implement BitPay’s cryptocurrency payment processing infrastructure so that users could choose it as an alternative to Wix e-commerce platform.
In addition to five different stable currencies such as BUSD, DAI, GUSD, USDP, and USDC, Wix Merchant users use Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Dozecoin (DOGE), Etherium (ETH), Lightcoin (LTC), Can. Bitcoin (WBTC), and XRP (in certain jurisdictions). The metrics indicate that Wix makes about 1 1 billion through its product services such as website builders, business management services and web hosting.
“Wex is one of the largest and most widely used web development platforms with over 210 million users, so it’s another step forward in the mainstream of cryptocurrency,” said Stephen Pierre, CEO of BitPay, in a statement. Pair added, “Businesses can come to market quickly and gain growing sales by entering the huge trillion-dollar cryptocurrency marketplace.”

Last year, BitPay took several steps in the industry with famous companies such as Universal Air Travel Plan (UATP), youth fashion and retail brand Paxun, Shop.com, Dr Lu Luke’s music company Prescription Song, Luxury Hotels, Group The Kessler Collection, Veron. Platform Wag, Virtual Cloud Desktop Startup Shells, Luxury Fashion E-Taylor Jomshop, and Collective Car, Vintage and Antique Motorcycle, and Road Art Sales.
“We continue to integrate with innovative payment partners to give Wix merchants more payment options,” said Omar Shatzki, head of billing and payments at Saas firm Wix. “With BitPay, Wix merchants have access to a whole new market of customers who prefer to pay with Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies and a way for their business to enter the growing cryptocurrency market.”
According to the announcement, in the first phase of the Wix rollout, Wix merchants and their customers will be able to use BitPay services in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Canada, Australia and Brazil.
