Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 team signs long-term deal with crypto exchange FTX – Bitcoin News


After several partnerships this year, FTX Trading Limited announced on Thursday that the company has partnered with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One team. According to the FTX, the relationship will remain in “multiple race seasons” and the FTX logo will be “featured” by both the car and the driver.

On Thursday, FTX revealed that it is collaborating with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One team and that the partnership aims to be long-term. Although we know that the FTX logo will be displayed by both the Mercedes F1 driver and the car, other types of FTX branding will be unveiled during the upcoming Russian Grand Prix. The Mercedes F1 in the Russian Grand Prix Formula One will be held on Sunday, September 2nd.

FTX chief executive and founder Sam Bankman-Fried said he was delighted to partner with FTX Formula One world champion and current team point leader Mercedes-AMG Petronas. A statement sent to Bitcoin.com News. Bankman-Fried added:

The knee-deep, crypto exchange logo will be displayed on the FTX sports fleet of Mercedes-Benz trucks, F1 team in the garage

FTX has taken a number of steps in 2021 and has recently raised 900 900 million in rounds of Series B financing. The firm is on its knees in the sports industry and recently launched a commercial with Super Bowl star Tom Brady and super model Gisele Bundchen.

MLB’s official cryptocurrency exchange also became a long-term deal with FTX professional baseball clothing. In addition to the logo that the Mercedes-AMG Petronas team will play, the FTX logo will appear on the team’s fleet of Mercedes-Benz trucks.

“Members of the FTX Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One team will also have access,” the announcement explains. “Including driver Lewis Hamilton and Voltaire Botas to further expand the reach of the FTX brand in the global fan base of the FTX brand Formula One through marketing initiatives.”

The company says Mercedes F1 and FTX will also launch other initiatives in the future that could include an NFT collection, FTX pay integration and other concepts.
