Maxine Waters claims her Twitter has been hacked and the internet has ruthlessly mocked her

On Tuesday, Democratic Congresswoman Maxine Waters claimed that a “hacker” had “deleted” her Twitter account.

“I was hacked and my Twitter account was deleted,” Waters wrote, followed by, “I know who did this. I’ll take care of this. M Waters.”

Waters did not provide any evidence as to why he thought he had been hacked and deleted from Twitter. Also, his old posts were still available.

It was a curious but funny tweet.

Needless to say, the internet has lost it.

Let’s start the game

It’s as if Waters has subconsciously decided to entertain everyone on Twitter this week.

A few Twitter users started using the famous line of Liam Nisson movie “Taken”.

Fox News editor David Rutz wrote, “If you delete my Twitter account, it will be over. I will not look for you. I will not chase you.”

And the hits keep coming.

Someone had to go there: ‘It was Russian!’

Waters was very familiar with the railings about former President Donald Trump and the ‘Russian conspiracy’ during the 2016 presidential election, you knew anyone would go there.

Hell, this is pinned to the top of his Twitter:

So Brett Sher, executive editor of the Washington Free Beacon, went there.

Stephen Miller called Waters a “boomer.”

A personal investigation into the matter is likely underway

As of this writing, there is no update on Congresswoman Waters’ personal investigation into the disappearance of her Twitter account. Still there.

The company also weighed in, calling Waters’ claim “fake news.”

Yahoo reported that a spokesman for Twitter said, “As a matter of fact, we have an open line of communication with his office and have worked with them to secure the account. At this time, we have not detected any signs of account compromise.”

When he finds the culprit who did the work that was not done, we will definitely let you know.
