Kodak Black is reported to have slipped again. According to TMZ’s exclusive report, the rapper violated the conditions of release under his supervision. Kodak failed a drug test and was ordered to undergo treatment.
As previously reported, Kodak’s sentence was changed by former President Donald Trump in January 2021. Trump released the final list of pardons just hours before the end of his presidency. Kodak Black and Lil Wayne were both on the list of 143 people.
At that time, Kodak, whose legal name is Bill K. Capri, 46 months in prison. He was arrested in 2019 for a federal gun case. According to the complex, there were two allegations against Kodak for making false statements to a firearms dealer.
He was arrested on his way to Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. The date was May 11, 2019. Kodak was arrested by local police, ATF agents and U.S. marshals as he was about to perform at Rolling Loud.
Kodak was released immediately after Trump’s pardon. He thanked the then president along with fans and supporters.
“I want to thank President Donald TrumpOr his commitment to reforming justice and shortening my sentence, ”Kodak said. “I want to thank everyone for their support and love. That means more than you know. I want to give back, learn and grow. ”
Fortunately for Kodak, this violation of his release conditions will not send him back to prison. Instead, TMZ reports that he has been ordered to undergo treatment for 90 days. TMZ sources say the rapper is already working for three months in a residential medical program.
In the latest update to TMZ’s story, Kodak’s lawyer Bradford Cohen has rejected an attempt to clean the air through a media outlet. Despite these reports, Kodak’s Instagram story had four posts as of Wednesday evening, one of which had him photographed in front of a car.
