Green Bay Packers Running Back Aaron Jones joins Crypto Exchange FTX’s Ambassador Team – Bitcoin News

The collaboration with the NFL player follows the firm’s partnership with seven-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady and his wife Gisele Bandchen.

FTX Launches Long-Term Partnership with NFL Running Back Aaron Jones

Crypto resource company FTX continues to make deals in the professional sports world like last week, with FTX partnering with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One team. FTX Super Bowl champion Tom Brady has partnered with Brazilian model Gisele Bandchen and has become MLB’s official crypto exchange brand in a long-term deal.

FTX bought US professional support giant TSM for 21 210 million and won the right to name the Miami Heat Arena. Following a deal with Mercedes F1, FTX announced that Green Bay Packers had overtaken Aaron Jones to become the company’s ambassador.

Aaron Jones has joined the FTX company, running behind the Green Bay Packers, as one of the crypto firm’s ambassadors.

Under the deal, Jones also acquired a stake in FTX and the NFL player’s “compensation will be paid in cryptocurrency.” Jones was drafted by the Greens Bay Packers in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft after graduating from the University of Texas, El Paso. Statistics show that Jones captured 1000+ racing yard seasons in 2019 and 2020. The following year, Jones was selected to play in the Pro Bowl at Allegiant Stadium.

“I plan to invest a portion of my future marketing earnings in cryptocurrency and other blockchain-related assets through the FTX US Exchange,” Jones said Tuesday. Green Bay Packers ran back and added:

In addition, my brother and I are thrilled to be shareholders in FTX through Showtyme Ventures, LLC – my family’s investment vehicle dedicated to investing in legendary entrepreneurs who are unexpectedly changing the world, with equal emphasis on making as much impact as shareholder returns. . My brother and I are thrilled to be able to represent FTX as our first venture investment.

NFL teams and players join a crypto revolution, NFL complains against participation

The deal with Aaron Jones, however, prevents teams and players from participating in certain blockchain and crypto-related ventures, according to the NFL. On September 3, a report in sports publication The Athletic quoted “multiple club sources” who were familiar with the subject. A large number of BFL players and teams, including Trevor Lawrence, Russell Okung, Patrick Mahoms and Rob “Grunk” Gronkowski, have entered blockchain and crypto over the past two years.

The company Grayscale Investments partnered with the NFL team New York Giants in the first week of May. In mid-June, New York giants Sakon Berkeley said he planned to convert his approval revenue into Bitcoin. Aaron Jones of Green Bay says he plans to merge his charity A&A All the Way (www.aaalltheway.org) with FTX Pay to donate with crypto resources. The purpose of the charity is to “make an impact in the lives of the youth of our nation through charitable giving and action.”

Brett Harrison, president of FTX US, said the Green Bay Packers are running after the same ideology as the company. “When we first met Aaron, it was clear that he had set the same standard on FTX – a lasting positive impact on the world. We can be helped to move forward.
