The Galaxy S21 Ultra has the best camera

Samsung’s Galaxy S21 Ultra (8/10, wired recommendation) was our favorite high-end camera phone for the better part of a year, mainly because its camera system is unmatched in the United States. This phone has two telephoto zoom cameras, a 3X and a 10X optical zoom. This means that you can zoom objects really far and still get spectacular results, something that is not yet possible on most smartphones. These two cameras are connected by an ultraviolet and a 108-megapixel main sensor, both of which capture very pleasing images. It remains the ultimate camera phone, though we’ll have to wait and see if Google’s upcoming Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro can reclaim the crown.

That’s just the camera. It’s almost the. One of the largest smartphones around with an inch-by-inch LED screen, which also has a 120-Hz refresh rate, and the whole thing is powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 chip. It will run all day on a single charge; Just remember to buy a separate charging adapter, as Samsung does not include one in the box.

There are some downsides. There’s no microSD card slot, so if you plan to take a lot of 8K video (stuck in HD or 4K), 128GB of storage will be filled. It’s a big phone and still quite expensive, even at a discount.
