Rashida Talaib (D-MI), a far-left Republican, took to the floor of the House of Representatives, one of her Democrat colleagues, on Thursday to call Israel a “racist state.”
Taleb’s comments came during a debate over funding for Israel’s Iron Dome defense system.
Far-left Democrats managed to remove 1 billion in funding from the current ongoing resolution bill, but on Wednesday, Rep. Roza Delauro introduced a separate bill for the fund.
In condemnation of the bill, Talaib took fire from his own party.

Republicans have wasted no time in condemning the move. Representative Steve Omack (R-AR) said he was not surprised, “Given Publicly anti-Semitic Feelings and comparisons Israel and America are terrorists Some organizations have published On the other hand. “
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) said, “Even if Dames supports the anti-Semitic influence of their radical members, the Republicans will always be on Israel’s side.”
But it was comments made by Tlaib’s fellow Democrats that raised eyebrows.
Representative Ted Dutch (D-FL) went to the floor and said:
“I cannot allow one of my colleagues to stand on the floor of the House of Representatives and identify the Jewish state of Israel as a racist state. I reject it. ”We get a chance to debate a lot on the floor of the house.
But falsely identifying the state of Israel is consistent with them, let’s be clear, it is consistent with those who are in favor of breaking up a Jewish state in the world. And when there is no place on the map of a Jewish state, it is anti-Semitic. And I reject that. ”

Republican Stephanie Murphy (D-FL) said of Talaib’s remarks, “I am outraged and disappointed that some of my colleagues object to Israel helping to protect itself from rocket attacks by Hamas and Hezbollah terrorists.” America must support our ally Israel.

Tlaib, Ocasio-Cortez, and other members of the “squad” have track records when it comes to Israel.
Correspondent Ilhan Omar (D-MN) has been punished several times for questioning tweets.
In one instance, he tweeted, “Israel has mesmerized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil deeds of Israel.” In another, he hinted that US support for Israel was primarily for money, or, as Omar put it, “all about Benjamin.”
Talaib was clearly not anti-Semitic like Omar, but it was his perspective that caught people’s attention. Last month, Talaib commented that it was working “behind the scenes” to shut down “free Palestine” and was making “profits” from the Americans.
Anti-Defamation League Jonathan Greenblatt responded, “We have heard such ugly things. [antisemitic] The dog was whistling before, but it was horrible when it came from a member of Congress. ”
Funding for the Iron Dome defense has finally passed 420-9.
