Munstek, a stacking pool protocol on the B2B service platform, announced today that it has been invited to be a friend of IBM’s HyperProtect Accelerator, a mentorship program that enables global startups with its top-class data protection, privacy and security solutions. By

Over the past two years, IBM HyperProtect Accelerator has enabled 45 of the most exciting and global fintech, health tech and insuretech startups. This year, they are working to raise this number to 100, bringing more opportunities to a wide range of global tech startups across a wide range of industries, including music, education, legal and decentralized technology.

The program is organized in collaboration with Village Capital who has supported more than a thousand early-stage entrepreneurs through its program. In this accelerator initiative, Village Capital is managing the business mentorship aspect of the support services of the program, while IBM is leading the way in technical capabilities.

Startups were selected based on a multi-step process where data protection requirements, in terms of use, product-market suitability, size, age and construction, and applications were evaluated based on scale. The final firms conducted multiple interviews and were evaluated both technically and commercially before successfully joining CoHarts and Friends of HyperProtect.

Launched in August 2020, Munstek aims to build the largest stacking network in Asia. Since the platform went live, the Munstek team has continued to develop a user-friendly web and mobile wallet in support of more than 2,000 cryptocurrencies.

Since launch, Munstek’s total stacking assets have reached 1.5 billion. Further, Munstek now supports 12 stacking coins, the most popular non-fungible token (NFT) standard, and is working with Muse Finance to enter the defi market.

“I am thrilled to announce that Munstek is part of the IBM Friends of Hyper Protect program. It was actually a continuation of ongoing discussions with IBM and Village Capital over the months and we are happy to see the official announcement from IBM during their Z Day Global event. It is connected to our drive to provide a safe and secure experience for our stacking users. “
