Check out Apple’s iPhone 13 launch event here

During the epidemic The resilience whirlpool may make you constantly wonder what day it is, but there is at least one guarantee on the gadget ground: Apple will launch a new iPhone. Apple is hosting its annual fall hardware event this morning, and, as usual, the entire technology industry (and anyone who thinks it’s time to buy a new iPhone) will understand how Apple is responding to both – watching online will see consumer technology trends and advances.

For the title at the media event we know one thing for sure: there will be a new iPhone in at least two variations. (TBD on whether to call it “iPhone 1” “- Apple may realize that the numerical naming convention is starting to get a little ridiculous.” Camera feature with bokeh effect and “smart” filter for capture. Surprisingly, the new iPhones will also be powered by Apple’s new custom chip, and in terms of screen refresh rate, they’ll eventually catch up with Samsung’s flagship phone. And an investor’s note from Dan Ives of Wadebush Securities suggested that the new iPhone’s high-end “Pro” model could have 1-terabyte storage options.

Other rumored roundups have hinted at a newly designed iPad mini, as well as newer AirPods, as part of the fall hardware launch. The invitation to the virtual event included a reference to “California Streaming” and an image that could be a part of the proposed augmented reality event. (An AR Easter egg was hidden in the invitation.)

What could be some more significant news No. Immediately available for pre-order this week: Apple Watch. The Apple Watch Series 7 is expected to be delayed due to production issues, although some reports have indicated that the barriers to today’s event could be cleared in a timely manner. The production delay of a well-established product suggests that the Series 7 watch, whenever it launches, may include significant design changes or new features that go beyond run-of-the-mill activity tracking. But it also shows that Apple is not free from production problems or supply constraints that affect consumers’ technology industries.

The hardware event of Appleā€™s fall is also happening at a time of reckoning for the company. It has so far faced extraordinary epidemics, as there are many technology companies, such as consumers demanding smartphones, tablets, laptops and web services that are capable of remote work, learning, exercise, unwanted and connected. But the sheer glory and impact of Apple in our lives has also come under intense scrutiny this year, not just the epic trial, the company’s presence in China, the controversial decision to scan iCloud photos (and then walk-backs), and even the unrest in the United States. Then again, for a certain consumer who is just wondering if they should get a new iPhone … this is an iPhone launch.
