Australia and RCB leg-opener Adam Zampa opened his mouth during his sudden departure during the Indian leg of IPL 2021.

Australian leg-spinner Adam Zampa has spoken out about the sudden exit from the Indian leg of IPL 2021 earlier this year. Adam Jumpa was one of the players who was quickly withdrawn from the tournament due to the Covid-1 crisis.

Jampa was a member of the Royal Challengers Bangalore team. He flew with teammate Ken Richardson on April 25 to describe the franchise as a personal cause. The two had the good fortune to reach Australia on a charter plane, as the Australian government suspended flights from India until May 15.

Adam Jampa thinks they were lucky to get the flight considering the situation at the time. The South Australian commented that he and Richardson had decided it was best to return to the country. Quoting Perth Now, Jampa says:

“Getting the flight on time, we were quite lucky. It was like a little storm. I remember people telling us they didn’t believe Australia would expel Australian citizens from their country the next day, it was happening. It was a little weird. Why and I We decided together that it was best to go home. “

Richardson played only one match in IPL 2021, and Jumpa did not get a chance. The pair were not part of the UAE leg tournament as they were replaced by Sri Lankan pair of Wanindu Hasaranga and Dushmant Chamera.

Meanwhile, Jampa reflected Australia’s formidable tour of the West Indies and Bangladesh and looked set to win the tournament with a resounding victory. He added:

“We had a very bad time as a team and I think we all really needed a little physical and mental break. I went and spent every minute that I could probably do at home. I didn’t like anything other than winning the World Cup. Something will be disappointing. “

The leg-spinner is Australia’s leading spin-bowler for the World Cup and will be joined by Ashton Agar and Mitchell Swipson. The yellow men are looking at their first T20 title, campaign 2 will begin their campaign against South Africa in Abu Dhabi in October.
